Are you interested in becoming a vendor at one of our public markets? This website contains most of the information that you will need in order to determine if selling at our markets is right for you.
Some business ideas, such as those involving foods or live plants, have additional health, safety and/or regulatory requirements that we will need to discuss with you. We also have franchise restrictions against certain types of businesses. If you feel that you qualify, go ahead and submit your ideas to us and we will try to point you in the right direction to get started.
- Attend a Market or two to experience first-hand the atmosphere & crowds, and to get an idea of what other vendors are making, how their booths are displayed and what products/services seem to be doing the best.
- Review the information on this website, including the rules & regulations, franchise restrictions and fees, and become familiar with our normal market schedules & operating hours. (For a quick guide on this site’s layout, click here.)
- Complete the online application, respond to our emails for follow-up details and we will review your business concept and be in touch (typically within a few weeks)
Your product idea will be reviewed by a panel to verify that 1) your product fits into our producer-only sales model, 2) that we feel it is a product/service that has a chance of succeeding within our markets, and 3) that you meet the safety, health and other legal requirements (that we know about!) for your product category.
New Vendor Orientation
After receiving your approval notice, you will need to attend one of our monthly New Vendor Orientations prior to selling your first day. Consult the online calendar for upcoming orientations.
