June 2020 Market Report

We just wrapped up our first full month of markets in 2020, and although things are still building/improving we’re starting to see some trends

  • the Chattanooga Market @ First Horizon Pavilion is remarkably stable/consistent, with average sales of about $34k/week. Per vendor sales, which are dominated by farms/food, are in the $500 range.

  • The River Market is directly correlated to the reopening of downtown, and we saw tremendous success last Saturday – average vendor sales for June 27 came in at $552/vendor, which is the second best event of the month. I believe that River Market will be the best market location for artists in 2020. The combined marketing efforts of the Aquarium, Chattanooga Tourism Company and others are focused on this location as part of Chattanooga’s reopening.

  • Collegedale is making me proud, with consistently stable crowds and sales. Father’s Day (without our normal fun enhancements) took a small dip, but people are loving and supporting the farms and foods.

Have a great and safe 4th!
