Hello Market Friends!
It’s hard to believe that fall is just about HERE! It’s one of our favorite times at Chattanooga Market…produce (which has been in transition late August/early September) revs back up, football season, and Chattanooga Oktoberfest®! If you’re new to the area, or haven’t been to our Oktoberfest celebration before, you’re in for a treat.
Forbe’s magazine voted us tops for a family-friendly event—who doesn’t love to do the chicken dance?!?! We’ll have a live Oompah band (The Wurstbrats), German inspired foods (and other cultural treats), dozens of varieties of beer, and a crowning of the 2021 Mr. and Ms. Chattanooga Oktoberfest. It’s a pretty special weekend, and it’s all happening on BOTH Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, October 10th.

Who will be this year’s Mr. and Ms. Chattanooga Oktoberfest!!! Join us for the party (under the big tent) decked out in your Lederhosen or Dirndl! No need to have a partner, single entries are great and it’s all just a fun vote by audience applause. We’ll be kicking off the contest with a good ole fashioned chicken dance and some pints to get us in the spirit…hosted by Hits 96, PROST!
