A message from Angelica Church, Elizabeth “Eliza” Hamilton, and Margarita “Peggy” Schuyler (a.k.a. The Schuyler Sisters)!
Our Fellow Patriots!
There’s nothing like summer in the City of Chattanooga! Look around, look around! How lucky we are to be alive right now! History has happened at First Horizon and we just happened to be at the greatest Market in the World - the annual Red, White and Blueberries Market this past weekend!
We were looking for, and we found, minds at work, as well as a whole treasure trove of blueberry magic. We were down for the count and we were drowning in them!
Now, Market Staff asked us to announce the winners of the Booth Contest, and we were helpless to do otherwise. There were so many amazing entries in each of the categories, selecting just one winner was difficult (some might say it’s intense or it’s insane). But, without further ado, here are your 2025 Red, White and Blueberries contest winners:
Category: Articles of Confection (Best Blueberry-Themed Food Product)
Winner: Baking New Memories, Blueberry Scone
Category: Give Me LibARTy! (Most Creative Blueberry-Themed Art or Craft)
Winner: Mini Kitty Designs, Blueberry Earrings
Category: Decoration of Independence (Most Festive Booth Overall)
Winner: Olive Branch Nutrition
These entries were brilliant! It’s giving Benjamin Franklin with a key and a kite. You see it, right?
Now, as you know, Angelica is a woman who is never satisfied - blueberries are great, and all, but there are other fruits in season this summer. We hold these truths to be self evident that all fruits are created equal. And when she met Market Staff, she compelled 'em to include Peaches in the sequel!
Peach Festival is this Sunday, July 13th. And we’ll be looking for all things peach - candles, cobblers, and copious amounts of the fruit. Just don’t tell Alexander (peach fuzz, he can’t even grow it). But you, our vendors, have the opportunity to compete in our fourth vendor booth contest of the season. Here are your categories:
- Unimpeachable Taste (Best Peach-Themed Food Product)
- Peachy Keen (Most “Keen” Peach-Themed Art/Craft)
- Pretty as a Peach (Most Festive Booth Decoration)
If you think you have what it takes to revel with some rebels on a hot night, HERE is your link to enter the contest. Fifty bucks and bragging rights for the winner of each category!
Well, Peggy has reminded us again that Daddy told us to be home by sundown, so we’ll leave you to it! Work!
Yours, as always,
Angelica, Eliza, and Peggy
