Knoxville Holiday Market 2025 update

Hey folks,

It’s come to our attention from one of our active vendors that there is some confusion about the signup process for Knoxville Holiday Market 2025. Specifically, this particular (supportive & excited) vendor has been planning to attend Knoxville all along, but felt there was loads of time to take action because the number of slots shown on Signup Genius indicated tremendous vacancy.

I believe the missing bit of knowledge to share is that we do not use Signup Genius exclusively to manage all registrations; it’s one of several tools to allow simpler and familiar access to our events for our regular market vendors. Many people have been surprised by showing up to a regular Sunday Market, expecting lots of space to be open, only to find it packed – it’s an unfortunate and incorrect aspect of SUG.

We have been actively marketing this holiday festival since July 1, and directing all interests (the bulk of which are not exclusive to our regular Chattanooga Market community) to our quick-join page at https://chattanoogamarket.com/holiday. If you intend to participate this year, you too should visit that link to indicate your desire.

As of today, we have approximately 160+ vendors who have been accepted/invoiced for this year’s event, with another 43 to review today which have applied to join since last Tuesday. The flow of interest for the Knoxville Holiday Market has far exceeded any other event we’ve launched in recent years, and we are seeing people from Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and strongly from the Knoxville metro indicate their intentions to join us. A lot of Chattanooga people, too – but my guess is that more new vendors than existing at this point.

We are a bit overwhelmed by the volumes, as it does take time for us to curate and select vendors who we aren’t already familiar with – and we’re seeing a lot of new faces during this process. It’s going to be an exciting and fresh series!

The Punchline

I say all of this for one primary purpose: if you intend to participate in the Knoxville Holiday Market, you must go to chattanoogamarket.com/holiday and signup soon. We are aggressively working to fill the venue, and once it is full there will not be any room for you.

We value our Chattanooga peeps – If cash flow is the only reason you are waiting, signup now and let us know that you need help with the payment plan. We won’t consider anyone confirmed until payment is received (cash = commitment), but we are happy to work with you to spread the total fee out over a month or two.

Thanks - see you soon
Chris

We received our invoice last week, thank you . We plan to pay next week unless we are in danger of losing our space?

You guys are rocking it . It will be a great show!!!

Thank you!

No danger as you are on the list, in progress, etc. It’s the silent folks who assume there will be a space available in a couple of months that we are wanting to reach — we strive to avoid disappointment, when preventable.

Thank you so much for this update! We were also waiting to sign up for December. Yikes! We just sent in the interest form, we’re happy to pay an invoice as soon as we get it.

The fact that we saved you is enough to make the whole post worthwhile!

I may have missed this but is there a discount code available for the hotel attached to the convention center for vendors? Trying to figure out how to swing this travel and stay expenses.

There is a discount code which will be sent to the registered vendors, but it’s not for the attached hotel (that was in a signature/high-end brand, on the pricey side). I believe the discount code we have is for a Hampton Inn or similar tier property.

we get the dc code once we are paid up??

Yes, it will go out to all of the confirmed/registered vendors. Honestly, we’re just a bit underwater and working to clear a backlog of vendor apps, etc. Seasonal surge of paperwork on our end, causing a few delays!

Honestly, we are working so hard to get ready our logistics details, inventory, marketing steps and more for this event, and we can’t even imagine all the hard work that Chattanooga Market team have being fantastically performed since last year and still doing until then. We really appreciate and thanks your professionalism and dedication.

What happens if we have paid for our space , but now will not be able to attend this event? Do I get a full refund? Thanks!

No, registration fees are non-refundable. If you have an approved market vendor-friend who wants your spot, we can facilitate the transfer (but they must be an approved vendor).

So I either do the event or lose the money, and not show up, correct?

I have paid the whole amount for the event. I understand that I can’t get back the $50 deposit, but what about the other amount that was invoiced and paid?

You’ve made a commitment to the event, and we have made a commitment to the venue.

Hi. Checking out the World’s Fair Exhibition Hall area, I went to their Event Calendar, and they already included our Holiday Market at the link Knoxville Holiday Market . You can also open a PDF, which I attached, with some additional information about the space we’ll be using, which may be valuable to some of us participating in the event. WFEH Map.
