It was a pretty weekend, with perfect weather at all of our locations. We also helped raise a lot of money for the Chattanooga Food Bank - a record $12,700 of tickets were sold, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Chattanooga Food Bank. A special thanks to Koch Foods for donating the wings, and to all of the participating restaurants for donating their time and labor for the worth cause.
As for the remainder of the Market, there is not much reason to be unhappy - $145k for the weekend is happy news this time of the year. And with the overall economy slowing, I feel that this is a very solid, very good spot for us to be in.
We have pretty much finalized Chattanooga Oktoberfest®, Holiday Market and Head of the Hooch concessions, information will be flowing over the next several days about those upcoming events.
