Thanksgiving Market this year, to be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, is taking a new twist this year – we’re going to have an ice skating rink! We’re pretty jazzed about the addition, as it will add a new spark to the event.
To that point, our plans for 2025 are for Thanksgiving Market to become our Chattanooga Holiday Market for a two-day weekend (Sat Nov 22-Sun Nov 23, 2025), again with the ice rink. This will be a great way to end the season, before our journey up the road to Knoxville for our indoor Holiday Market series.
As you can see, the ice rink will take up some space - we will have less vendor booth capacity than what is typical.
- All current Season Pass Vendors will be assured an indoor spot.. Many SPs will be in their usual spot, but several will be relocated. I spoke with most all of the SP folks who will need to be shift this last Sunday, and everyone is pretty happy with the refreshed approach. (I’ll try to catch the missing booth or two this next weekend)
- Food trucks will be in the front street only. Again, only Season Pass trucks are assured participation. There will not be any back/stage area food court.
- In fact, there will not be a stage or rear seating this year. That area will be reconfigured to support more artist booths for this event.
- If you do not have a Season Pass, you will need to join the interest list. We won’t have room for everyone indoors, so if you are interested in an outdoor spot let us know - it will improve your chances of participating, although we’ll naturally try to get you indoors if possible.
The map below is a quick image of the revised layout; the red area will be used by the ice rink. The yellow/purple area (typically our stage/food court) is new, and will not have the stage/seating – booths only. The front street area will have seating, and our food trucks.
