Vendor Portal Update: Market Enrollments; Erlanger Markets

Given recent service dependability issues with Signup Genius, we are shifting our Vendor Enrollment to a new platform. To support that effort, and to simplify the amount and types of information you receive from us, we are simultaneously changing the Vendor Forum/Portal to better fit your specific needs.

On the left-hand side of the vendor forum/portal, you will notice that new categories are starting to appear. Announcements, which is our general broadcast channel which this message is being sent through. Below that, there are two private channels currently and more will appear over the next two weeks – one private channel for each of our market locations (Chattanooga, River) and special events. Currently, Erlanger Market is being rolled out today.

Only vendors who have asked to join the Erlanger Markets, and been accepted to those locations, will see the new items on their forum. Enrollments for Erlanger Markets will be announced on this private channel. John is working to verify that all Erlanger participants have access during today’s market, and if you feel that you should be included then chat with him (today or this weekend), or email the help desk.

Here’s an example of how this private channel looks to approved Erlanger vendors:

You will notice that signups using the new platform are currently available, but only to those vendors with prior market/location authorization. Those vendors may signup today for any published future event at that location.

Conversely, if you are not interested in all of our Markets – moving forward you will only see information for the locations you are actively engaged with. All information, including signup/enrollment announcements, will go directly through the forum/portal moving forward.

We are rolling out these changes for Erlanger and River this week (chat with John today or on Saturday if you are an active River Marketeer). The Chattanooga Market vendors will take a bit longer, but all October enrollments use the new approach. Once again, John can assist you with that process – it’s best to ask him to verify your forum/portal is setup correctly during one on the smaller markets this week.

Several of you have already used the new registration/ticketing platform, and it seems to be working great - zero issues or questions reported. It has several new features which I like, including a Waiting List option and better integrations with your Apple/Google Calendar and such. River Market registrations for October has been made available on the River Market channel. While attending the River this Saturday, make sure you have access - the final downtown event (Head of the Hooch) will go out in about two weeks.

Hi Chris, I’m new to all of this so I’m sorry if this is clearer to others- but if I am wanting to sign up for September markets- am I using sign up genius or a new platform? And if it’s the new platform- where can I find this link? Thanks!

No, it’s a bit of a mess at the moment. Here are those links:

SUG seems to be working OK today, so hopefully those will work OK for you!

We really should have been given notice that the fee was raised today to $50 for walk ups, we aren’t happy about it. Are you raising registration fees on this new registering platform too?

Miette - public notice was provided 10 days ago:

And no - there are no changes to the setup fees for normal online registrations.
