2024 Holiday Market Load-In

It’s the most wonderful time of the year or maybe even the most stressful time of year! We are about 3 weeks away from our Holiday Market setup and there will be a few things that are different with load-in this year.

There is an event going on in Hall B on Dec. 6th which means we don’t have access to that hall until Saturday morning. We will also have to do what we did last year and Hall A will have to move out on Dec. 8th and return to set up on the following Friday or Saturday.

Sign ups have been posted on SUG for load-in both days. Below I will post a list of each vendor and the Hall you will be in. This will let you know which day to sign up for. Please note that if you still have an open invoice your name will not be on this list until that balance is paid in full or you have made arrangements with me.

Friday we will start load-in at 10am and the last time slot will be 4pm(signup here). If you need a later time please reach out to us and make special arrangements. On Saturday Dec 7th, load-in will start at 7am and the last time slot will be at 9am(signup here). In order for this to run smoothly please do the following:

  • arrive on time for your load-in slot, but do not arrive too early or we will make you wait
  • unload your vehicle quickly to your assigned booth location, and then move/park your vehicle elsewhere outside of the loading zone
  • once your vehicle is parked outside of the loading zone, you can take your time and setup for as long as is needed.
  • please be polite to the CC staff they are there to make sure everything goes smoothly and everyone is safe

Hall A will need to move out on Dec 8th due to another event using the space during the week. We will have setup again on Friday Dec 13th from 12pm-4pm or Saturday morning Dec 14th 7am-9am(signup here). Those sign ups are already posted on SUG so please go ahead and sign up for a load-in spot.

Lastly, the Convention Center is requiring each vendor who intends to sample at the Holiday Market to fill out a form and receive approval. This year, they’ve helpfully provided a link to their online Sampling Authorization Request Form. There is also a link to the fine print about sampling requirements. Other questions about the sampling requirements or the form itself can be directed to chattcateringsales@levyrestaurants.com.

Please also keep in mind that the Convention Center does not permit the sale any food or beverage designed for immediate consumption. All food and beverage items must be in sealed packaging and cannot be warmed up at the Convention Center. So, if you’re looking forward to Santa (or other customers) sampling your milk and cookies at the Convention Center, your only option is the sampling form and compliance with the sampling rules.

I know this is a lot and not what we are use to but please come in with an open mind and good attitude. This is our last year at the space so let’s make the best of it!

If i don’t plan on using the loading dock and im in hall A, I can still setup Saturday morning right?

Yes you can still set up on Saturday if you are in Hall A.

I only have one date available on sign up genius for load-in. Is that because I’m in Hall B? And to make sure, I don’t have to load out on Sunday the 8th? I had surgery last month and have to have help so want to make sure I’ve got the info correct. Thanks!

Hi Teresea - yes, that’s correct on both counts.

Hi, I went to sign up for a load-in time and all the signups for Hall B are full. There were only 75 slots available, but there are about 91 vendors assigned to the Saturday setup, so I’m guessing I’m not the only one in this boat. What do I need to do to sign up for a load time?

I added some more. You should be able to sign up now.
