It’s a happy moment when we can recognize a vendor for a massive milestone – in this case, we are celebrating with Mike & Eddie as Rosemary Knoll becomes only the third vendor in market history to surpass 1,000 Priority Points (the elite Diamond tier). That’s 3, out of a total vendor pool of 2,239 – which puts them in the top 0.013% of all market vendors.
The nutty duo joined us in 2013, exactly a decade ago in June, and have attended every Holiday Market, Chattanooga Market, most River Markets, Collegedale Markets, Chattanooga Markets at Erlanger and a series of other great-or-miserable events as we evolved, refined and experimented. If we tried something new, they were first in line to give it a whirl.
They too, have grown and evolved – it looks like their worst day was back in June of 2015 when they sold a whopping $31 of product (at the Pavilion). We normally refrain from sharing sales reports from individual vendors, but it’s safe to say that their better sales days have been substantially larger. They have mastered the arts of perseverance, culinary creation and inventory management to curate a diverse portfolio of products, and a huge dedicated customer following. These guys know how to work!
