IV. B. 2. Insurance Requirements

All vendors selling food or body care items will be required to carry a minimum of $1,000,000 of product liability insurance with Public Markets, Inc. (P.O. Box 810, Ooltewah, TN 37363) listed as a named-insured on their policy. While other vendors are not required to carry insurance, we highly recommend that you do so in order to reduce liability from accidents or injuries incurred due to your booth display or products.

Products more prone to health-related incidents include:

  • eggs, cheeses, and dairy products
  • proteins
  • processed and packaged foods
  • concessions
  • products with medicinal claims
  • products intended for use by infants or young children
  • skin care products

All others are encouraged to carry liability insurance in order to protect their business and personal property from potential claims.
